Dr Cameron Pinese
Cam was born and raised in sunny Far North Queensland, where he studied at James Cook University in Cairns. Whilst on a placement in Tasmania during his studies, Cam fell in love with the natural side of our state and after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2015, he decided to relocate to Tasmania permanently.
Cam worked in Launceston in the government sector for 5 years, including a 6 month rotation at the Launceston General Hospital in the Special Care Dental Unit, treating medically compromised and oncology patients. In 2021 he made the move to Hobart and joined the City Dental team.
Cam is notably skilled in performing dental extractions, both routine and surgical, in a calm and gentle manner. His laid back approach to life translates to a relaxed environment in the dental surgery. He also has a special interest in non-invasive, aesthetic anterior composite restorations.
Outside of work, Cam can be found enjoying the outdoors, either having a hit on the tennis court, growing vegetables in his garden or raising seedlings in his greenhouse for the summer crop.
