Dr Christina Alifraco

Dr Christina Alifraco is from tropical far North Queensland and grew up in the city of Cairns.

Christina's dental career began while working as a dental assistant for 7 years at a dental practice in Carins.  After realising her passion for dentistry she furthered her studies completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University.

Christina has worked as far as Mt Isa in remote Queensland, but it was Hobart that won her heart while on her fifth year clinical placement at the government clinic in New Town.  She fell in love with not only the relaxed lifestyle, but the lovely people she has met along the way.

Christina enjoys making a change in people's perception of the dentist and likes to build relationships with her patients to ensure they feel at ease when coming to see her. She particularly enjoys treating kids and anxious patients, as she likes watching them grow from where they first started.

Christina is a nurturing and gentle dentist, that likes to give confidence back to her patients.

In her spare time Christina enjoys walking her dog Meilah, spending time with friends and exploring all that Tasmania has to offer.
