Dr Daniel Frank

Dan is originally from rural Ontario, Canada, and completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2013. His early research in human anatomy and physiology sparked a lasting interest in dentistry. In 2014, Dan moved to Australia to pursue a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University (JCU).

During his first clinical placement in Hobart, he fell in love with Tasmania's lifestyle and community, and chose to make it his home after graduating. Since then, Dan has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, achieving a Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry and a Fellowship in General Dentistry with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He also serves as the Vice President of the Australian Dental Association (Tasmanian Branch). He is currently acting as the Senior Dentist at City Dental.

Outside of dentistry, Dan enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending time with his dog. A kind and gentle practitioner, he values building trust with his patients and takes great care to ensure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their dental care experience.
