Dr Angie Nilsson

Angie graduated in 2003 from Leeds University up in the north of England and went on to study at the Eastman's dental institute in London, obtaining a postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry.

Her passion in dentistry is patient-centred care with an interest in dental-phobics. She is currently studying for a master in health professional education while supervising final year dental students.

Dr Nilsson is currently serving as the vice president of the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian Dental Association.

Angie moved with her family from the UK to Townsville in 2010. After a holiday to the Huon Valley she decided to make the move to Tasmania with her husband Freddy and two young boys in March 2014.

Angie worked as a valuable part of the City Dental team from 2014.  In 2017 Angie's passion for public health saw her take up a full time position in the Government service, however she still forms a valuable part of our City Dental practitioner support team.  She stays in close contact with Dr Martin Fernando and all the team at City Dental and we wish her well with her future endeavours.
